Theory

Music Theory is important, because it lets us understand how music fits together and why the sounds sound the way they do. Learning music theory makes you more conscious and thoughtful and it is extremely beneficial in your development as a musician. If you understand the theory behind the music, it will help you to perform the piece with better interpretation. Theory is super interesting and fun to learn.
